MEET KAREN MIKOLAINIS
Candidate for Whitnall School Board -- Vote April 5, 2022
As a long-time resident and parent of three Whitnall students, I am running for the Whitnall school board to help our schools stay strong, maintain a culture of excellence and financial responsibility, and encourage parent and community involvement. Whitnall has a proud history -- let's work hard to keep Whitnall strong for many years to come.
The school board should inspire and push for achievement and growth. We must focus on academics and provide a wide range of learning opportunities. Great teachers are the key to our district's success.
It is a heavy responsibility to control costs and use taxpayer funds efficiently and effectively. We cannot afford to waste precious resources -- money and time. We must be results-focused.
Welcoming and truly hearing diverse viewpoints is a vital part of community leadership.
Parents are the most important people in a student's life, and parent-school partnership is essential.
